eXatrade Handel & Entwicklung committed to follow the 10 principles of the United Nations Global Compact.

 

The principles of the Global Compact is based on a global consensus, which derives from

  • the Universal Declaration of Human Rights
     
  • governed by the International Labour Organization on Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work
  • the Rio Declaration on Environment and Development and
  • the United Nations Convention against Corruption.

The Global Compact asks companies to recognize within their sphere of influence a set of core values in the field of human rights, labor standards, environmental protection and the fight against corruption, to support and to put into practice:

Principle 1: Businesses should support and respect the protection of internationally proclaimed human rights within their sphere of influence and

Principle 2: make sure that they are not complicit in human rights abuses .

Principle 3: Businesses should uphold the freedom of association to collective bargaining and the effective recognition of the right , and to fund

Principle 4: the elimination of all forms of forced labor,

Principle 5 : the effective abolition of child labor and

Principle 6: the elimination of discrimination in respect of employment and occupation.

Principle 7 : Businesses should support a precautionary approach to environmental challenges problems ,

Principle 8: undertake initiatives to promote greater responsibility for the environment, and

Principle 9 : encourage the development and diffusion of environmentally friendly technologies.

Principle 10: Businesses should work against all forms of corruption , including extortion and bribery.
